PROSPER in Fayette County
Brownsville
The Brownsville Area School District is a rural school district serving approximately 1,600 students from four western municipalities of Fayette County and one municipality of Washington County, in southwestern Pennsylvania. The PROSPER programs currently offered in cooperation with Brownsville Area School District are the Strengthening Families Program: for Parents and Youth 10-14 (SFP 10-14) and Botvin LifeSkills Training. SFP 10-14 is currently held in the evenings at the Brownsville Area Middle School and is available to all Brownsville area families with youth ages 10 to 14. LifeSkills Training is currently being delivered to all students in the 7th grade at the Brownsville Area Middle School.
