Tunkhannock Area School District is a public school district that serves 2,235 students in grades K-12 residing in Wyoming County, Pennsylvania. The district’s population was 18,423 at the time of the 2010 United States Census. The Tunkhannock Area School District brought the PROSPER model to their district in 2018 with two evidence-based prevention programs; The Strengthening Families Program: For Parents and Youth 10-14, offered to 5th & 6th graders and their parents and caregivers, and Botvin LifeSkills Training, taught to 7th grade during the school day by trained teachers in the school district.
