The Mount Pleasant Area School District is a rural school district serving approximately 2,100 students from four municipalities located in the south-central area of Westmoreland County, in southwestern Pennsylvania. The PROSPER programs currently offered in cooperation with Mount Pleasant Area School District are the Strengthening Families Program: for Parents and Youth 10-14 (SFP 10-14) and Botvin LifeSkills Training. SFP 10-14 is currently held in the evenings at Ramsay School and is available to all Mount Pleasant area families with youth ages 10 to 14. LifeSkills Training is currently being delivered to all students in the 6th grade at Ramsay School.
