PROSPER in Fayette County
The Albert Gallatin Area School District is a rural school district serving approximately 3,600 students from eight rural southwestern municipalities of Fayette County, in southwestern Pennsylvania. The PROSPER programs currently offered in cooperation with Albert Gallatin Area School District are the Strengthening Families Program: for Parents and Youth 10-14 (SFP 10-14) and Botvin LifeSkills Training. SFP 10-14 is currently held in the evenings at the Albert Gallatin Area High School and is available to all Albert Gallatin area families with youth ages 10 to 14. LifeSkills Training is currently being delivered to all students in the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades of both Albert Gallatin Middle Schools.
During the knot game, families start out in a criss-cross of arms and must untangle themselves without letting go of their end of the bandana.
